Section C: Timelessness versus irrelevance.
to be honest compiling this
has really taken it out of me
and by ‘it’
i mean every ‘it’ i could mean.
i watch my self atrophy.
what a strange pain,
to see the world forget you
so long before you’ve left it.
when i am finished with this compilation,
i will submit it without any tags
directly into the Collective Memory,
along with the rest of my self’s achievements.
maybe the improbability of its finding
will lead to it eventually being found
and appreciated;
someday, long after i’ve mixed
back into the soil.
one can only hope.
